When the Commonwealth Games came to Birmingham, the security operation needed airport-grade baggage screening across venues, mounted in tents and temporary structures, working flawlessly for the duration — with no second chances.

RedteQ was proud to be part of the team securing the Games. We helped install more than 140 baggage X-ray machines across the Games estate, aligning lanes in marquees, commissioning each machine and verifying image quality before a single bag was screened.

For the duration of the Games we provided 24-hour technical cover. On the odd occasion a fault occurred, our engineers responded and fixed the issue within the hour — keeping queues moving and organisers relaxed.
